This week there was a very exciting delivery to Asher Behaviour Lab. We had DogBox delivered. DogBox is a horse box which has been customised for us into a mobile dog behaviour lab. It will let us drive to our dogs rather than them coming to us. It will let us conduct research all over the country (and perhaps beyond) with the same standardised room for our behaviour research. All our research has a some benefit for dog-kind, so it’s great that we will be able to reach more dogs with the DogBox.
In time, we plan to fully kit out DogBox with wifi, thermal cameras, touch screens for dogs, and of course a kettle to make tea (for owners not dogs)
If you’d like to be added to our doggy volunteers list, or just want to hear more about DogBox then please email: DogResearch@Newcastle.ac.uk
